One more post on "the discourse"
I'm writing one more post about social.lol/micro.blog/whateverthefuck and then I'm done. This stuff keeps rearing its ugly-ass head at regular intervals and I'm done with it. No more "indie web". No more "Fediverse". No more drama. Y'all are welcome to it. Don't email me. I will ignore it. I am tossing you all out of the boat. Be happy that I will no longer be gracing any of you with my presence (that was a joke). With that out of the way...

Are you working with politicians trying to move things thru local or state government? Or are y'all just bitching about the latest outrage or perceived slight and then patting each other on the back for how big of an ally each of you is to some marginalized group? If real change is happening... good for everyone there. I am highly skeptical (see the thread from social.lol below).
Social media toxicity...I'm not complaining, I'm stating a fact. Social media is toxic. You won't convince me otherwise, especially now that you've posted you've been in a bad mood for 13 months. Why is that? Pretty sure it's not because it's all wine and roses man. I sincerely hope for your sake that you're able to do what you said in your apology thread. Never mind the I'm-a-big-man vibe behind "I'm sure he thinks he's landing big blows or something". Big blows? It was meant as a slap in the head to maybe get you to take a look in the mirror dude. I'm not calling you a facist, transphobe, or....white supremacist. I mean y'all are out there hinting that Manton Reece is a white supremacist. This bit of thread was absolutely un-fucking-hinged:

I'd suggest actually going and looking online about what toxicity is as I honestly don't think you really understand what that means. Hinting that someone is a white supremacist because he mislabeled the number of state parks in Texas on his blog? It's yet another case of you throwing chum in the water with the sharks circling and they came racing in. Jesus.
So yeah I'm glad someone finally got through to you by saying the only shitty thing they saw on their timeline one day was from you. Good for them. What I said certainly didn't help. It just made you dig in more. I hope you get some help and change is coming because the course you're on isn't the right one.
