Great art on the Internet
Thanks to Dave Winer and his blogroll for not only letting me rediscover the “Great art on Bluesky” account but also noting that there are RSS feeds for daily/hourly updates! Hourly isn’t bad in a social media context but for my subscribed RSS feeds it’s way too much noise so I’m glad there is a daily option which I will definitely be subscribing to in Inoreader.
Also, I had no idea this was put up on the web by Dave himself so thanks Dave for this great resource! The older I get (for reference I’m in my mid-50s right now) the more I appreciate the visual arts. Never cared about them when I was younger, I was all about music and audio technology, but I’ve slowly gravitated to enjoying looking at paintings and other works of art. If Bluesky is anything it’s a haven for artists and it’s one of the reasons I created an account there after swearing off social media completely (NFL and CFB being the other reasons).
